Your Privacy Choices
At UpgradeMyPad, we respect your privacy and want to give you meaningful control over how your personal information is used.
This page explains how you can request that we do not sell or share your personal information, manage marketing communications, or submit other privacy-related requests.
Your Right to Opt Out
UpgradeMyPad operates a home-improvement lead-generation and referral website. When you submit a project request, we may share information such as your name, phone number, email address, property location, and project details with independent contractors or home-improvement professionals that may contact you about your project.
Under certain privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), this type of sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
You may request that we stop selling or sharing your personal information for purposes covered by applicable law.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
To request that we do not sell or share your personal information, please email below.
When submitting a request, please include enough information for us to identify your record, such as:
-
Your full name
-
Email address
-
Phone number
-
Property address or city, if you submitted a project request
-
A statement that you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
You may use the following statement:
“I request that Upgrademypad.com not sell or share my personal information.”
We will process your request as soon as reasonably possible and in accordance with applicable law.
What Happens After You Opt Out
Once we process your request, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information in ways covered by your opt-out request, unless you later provide authorization for us to do so.
Please understand that opting out may affect our ability to match you with contractors, provide referral services, personalize advertising, or connect you with home-improvement professionals regarding a future project request.
Your opt-out request does not prevent us from retaining or using information where allowed by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, internal recordkeeping, or completing an existing transaction or service request.
Browser Privacy Signals
We recognize applicable opt-out preference signals sent by supported browsers or browser extensions, including Global Privacy Control, where required by law.
When an applicable opt-out preference signal is detected, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser and device, unless the law allows us to request additional information for a broader request.
